The problem is not that Versus isn't known enough, it's that VERSUS is the Bull Riding network, not the Hockey Network.
We need the NHL Network to emerge in the US, and ESPN to return on some basis.
The highest rated hockey game of the 90's was the NHL All-Star Game in San Jose, it got about a 4.1 in Saturday on primetime. That's better than the top rated Saturday shows get in the year 2007. The idea of All-Star Saturday night is one worth thinking about.
