So, NBC decided to amp up it's coverage, and make it better. They decided to get more promotion (a big push during football), an outspoken new commentator (Brett Hull), a webcast pregame show ("The NHL On NBC Countdown to Faceoff" on NBCSports.com) and more teams featured (The Devils have 3 games, compared to none last season). All in all, 9 weeks of coverage branded "Game of the Week" on NBC.
