Congrats to Cam Janssen on his first NHL goal, but unfortunately, he was the only one who showed up to play today. Maybe Marty, he was the only reason it was this close, but still, we gotta throw out a better performance. Let's hope for better at the Pay Phone in DC.
Isles win again, 3-2 over MTL. They move into a tie for 7th with MTL, and will stay there tonight if Carolina loses to Atlanta. Not the greatest of hopes to have right now but still, gotta hope for a Thrasher victory for a change.
As for the Rags, they must win tonight. Simple as that. Boston is in Florida, Toronto is in Philly. All 3 have fairly easy opponents, so the Rangers gotta pick up 2.
Of course, Derek wants the opposite.
Out west, Detroit is in Nashville to decide ownership of the Central Division lead. Calgary looks to get their lead over 9th place Edmonton up to 7 points against the Sharks. Must win situation for Colorado against LA tonight, regardless of whether CGY wins.
