NHL Tonight

Isles host the Lightning at 7:00 PM, Mike Sillinger's 1,000th game as the Lightning look to avoid a 6th straight road loss after being hammered by NJD last night at The Rock.

Rangers host A.O. and the Caps tonight at 7. A Ranger win and a regulation Isles loss would move NYR up to 3rd in the Atlantic.

Sabres are in Boston tonight in a Northeast showdown. Boston's 6-4, while the Sabres are 5-5, 4th and 5th in the Northeast.

Philadelphia's in Montreal tonight, as Danny Briere faces the team who's 6-year, $42 million offer he spurned to play with the Flyers. Montreal looks to keep pace in the Northeast with...

The Senators, who host Atlanta tonight. Thrashers look to climb out of the Southeast cellar and tie Florida and the Caps for 3rd in the division.

Detroit is visiting the Flames tonight. Red Wings are #1 in the NHL in points, and Henrik Zetterburg's been out of his mind. The Flames, and Iginla in particular, have impressed, at 2nd in the Northwest.

MOST INTRIGUING MATCHUP: St. Louis at Minnesota at the X Tonight. St. Louis looks to rebound from a loss at home to Phoenix, while the Wild pick up the pieces from Sidney Crosby on Tuesday.

2ND MOST INTRIGUING: Penguins at Avalanche, just for the pure entertainment factor of guys like Crosby, Malkin, Staal, etc. up against Sakic, Smyth, Stastny, etc. with Marc-Andre and Budaj in goal. HDNet has the game at 9:00 PM.

Columbus looks for a 5th straight win (!?!) against disappointing, to this point, Anaheim.

Finally, an odd 11PM start for Predators-Canucks, as both teams look to climb from Under-.500.
